The timber and wood products industry has been paying more and more attention to sustainability issues in recent years. More and more retailers and brands are beginning to require their suppliers to provide forest products from responsible sources. The public procurement policies of many countries in the world also regard certification as a precondition for selecting suppliers. The Lacey Act of the United States and the European Union Timber Act have banned the sale of illegal timber to their markets. The FSC® Forum will discuss the market trend of FSC-certified timber and wood flooring products, and introduce how FSC certification can help companies meet the "due diligence" requirements of the European Union Timber Act (EUTR).
